2012 Elections!
Tonight is a historic night for the LGBT community. Because so much has happened, a list is required:
- Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin, became the first openly-lesbian person to be elected to the US Senate
- Patrick Maloney of New York became the first gay Congressman elected
- Maryland legalized same-sex marriage via popular vote
- Maine legalized same-sex marriage via popular vote
Because of all of this, tomorrow's meeting will certainly be one full of optimism for the future, especially for the LGBT community. Be excited!!!
